Alza Capital Partners is an investment fund focused on the acquisition of private companies in America and Europe. Alza Capital Partners is led by Ángel Álvarez and Guillermo Zambrano, both with successful careers in company management and acquisition. Before Alza Capital Partners, Angel and Guillermo co-founded Lottus Capital, where they successfully led the purchase, management and exit of the Universidad Tres Culturas in Mexico.

Ángel is an Industrial Engineer and Economist from Northwestern University and a Master in Finance from London Business School. Before founding Lottus Capital, Ángel worked as a Global Investment Specialist with JP Morgan in Geneva. He was also at JP Morgan in New York and Mexico City on the Investment Banking team for Latin America. Previously, he worked at Miura Private Equity, a leading Private Equity firm in the mid-market sector in Spain. 

Guillermo has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College. Prior to founding Lottus Capital, Guillermo worked at Credit Suisse in the Private Banking division as Associate Vice President in Switzerland. Previously, Guillermo worked in the Strategic Planning and Product Development team at Alimentos Naturales Sabroza, a leading food processing company in Mexico.
